Web Gatherer is a browser with pizzazz!
It's a push-button way to quickly gather information from a list of websites -- descriptions, page titles, names, etc.
You can catalog information about a series of websites. The Web Gatherer makes your task far more time-efficient, interesting and fun.
You can also customize what you are gathering for your own needs. Once you've gathered all the info you need from a website, you save it in an output file -- an ordinary, comma-delimited text file. The output file is designed so that practically any software will be able to read it in. You can use it with standard software such as MS Word, Excel, Access -- or whatever you use.
Simplicity and ease is what it's all about...
You start by displaying a list of web addresses (URL's) that you have compiled in a text file (say, with the Web Hunter.) Clicking on any URL in the list takes you to that site. Then, by using the Name, Title and Gather buttons, you quickly collect the info you need. You save the gathered info in a text output file. And then move on to the next URL. Quick -- and easy! But that is just the beginning... you can customize a series of checkboxes, text boxes and drop-down lists with information that you want to save along with the name and titles of the websites in the output.
Instead of slowly surfing the web, and eyeballing the websites you are interested in, you simply push buttons to gather what you need. Fast!
